San Diego favorites Jetzo anchor tonight’s second block of shows at the San Diego Improv Festival.
“Jetzo is unlike anything you’ll find on the improv scene. Equal parts performance art, clown and improv, Juzo and Chad perform in costume as a father and son from a small fishing village. Every show is their debut in America. They speak a mix of Japanese, gibberish and key English words. They break every rule of improv, speak directly to the audience and bring them on-stage to play supporting roles.” Tonight, Jetzo will be joined by their “musical cousin,” Zach.
Just a few tickets remain for Jetzo’s very eclectic show block, which begins at 9pm. Performing with Jetzo are San Diego’s own RC George’s, who will perform short-form improv; The Mechanicals, from Fullerton, CA, who create an improvised Shakespeare play; and Rosita Stone, San Diego’s first Spanish/bilingual improv team.
